Hello readers, and welcome to my blog. I am so excited to finally have set this up, as I’ve been wanting to start something like this for a while now. It’s exhilarating to see it written down: DannyFrank.com. Makes me sound important!
The best advice I can give you I take from dear John Lennon and Paul McCartney:
There will be an answer, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be
Just stop for a moment, and let yourself take a second to slow down in this fast-paced world. Turn off your cellphone and go outside. Do yoga. Meditate. Become one with nature. Let it be.
I hope to see you in many more blog posts in the future. Remember, the world will become peaceful once you find peace within yourself.
Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without. – Buddha
No matter who you are, you more than likely are like the rest of us who would like to achieve inner peace. When you find that balance within yourself it seems to make everything else around you balance out along with you.
However, finding that inner peace is much harder than what some would make you believe. It is about you and being able to relax your mind and your body so that the inner peace will come to you. Take these simple steps to start on your road to inner peace.
Steps to Inner Peace
• Think about what in your life causes you stress. Once you know that you can work on ways to reduce that stress that happens every day in your life. If you feel that some of the things going on in your life are a little harder to handle, confide in a friend, a loved one or even a counselor if you need to. No matter how you do it, just try to get as much of it out of your life as you can.
• Spend time with yourself. Take the time every single day to be alone with no computers, no phones, and no people. Just be alone with your thoughts and your feelings and let go of everything that has stressed you throughout the day.
• Stop trying to multi-task. Work on one thing at a time until you are finished and then move on to the next task at hand. Being overworked and feeling like you have so much to do can lead to much more stress in your life than you have to have.
• Never let your emotions go unidentified. If you are angry at someone, be angry. If you are sad because of something that has happened in your life, take the time to be sad. Don’t ever let your emotions control you; you need to be able to control your emotions by allowing yourself the time to feel those emotions.
• Think about what it is that you believe in. Some believe in God while others believe in something totally different. Get in touch with your spiritual side no matter what it is that motivates you spiritually.
Feel Better About Things In your Life
If you follow the steps above you should begin to feel better about things in your life and you can know that you are well on your way to discovering inner peace within. It might take some a little longer to find it than it does others, but that is the same with everything.
No two people are the same and no two people will have the same life choices or circumstances to work with. Finding inner peace really is all about you and you should take advantage of learning to get to know you.
Have you ever wondered how those guys can lift so much more than you can even though they’re not as big? It’s simple, they’ve trained their muscles to do so. They didn’t start out lifting that much weight but have slowly upped their weight so that each training session they get stronger.
The way you do this is to have a workout partner who can spot you. When you get to the point that you can finish the last rep, have the partner assist you, but don’t let them do all the work. Pushing past your limitations is how you’ll become stronger.
It also doesn’t hurt to be taking a supplement such as Xtreme NO, which will help you to be stronger and have more energy in general for your workouts.
Much of the stress we take on in day to day life is related to our own psychological issues about control. There was a time when stress had a very useful purpose. Hormones would kick in and the rest of the systems of the body would shut down when sy, we were being chased by a bear. Fight or flight. Our reserves would be channeled toward escape or … we were eaten. Once the situation came back to normalcy, our levels would balance out and we would get back to hunting or gathering or whatever it was that the more anciet “Us” were up to.
Somewhere along the time line the system glitched. The same responses that were designed to kick in in times when life and death decisions were to be made, now kick in when we sit in traffic, when the line at the grocery store is too long, when we feel overwhelmed at ork and when we cant make the payments on our mortgage. Though these are not life and death situations, something in the body/mind does not know this any more. Whats worse, we are not good at turning it off.
The hormones released during high levels of stress bring down the immune system, they make us age faster , they kill brain cells and tax the heart. It is in our absolute best interest to keep these things in check.
Stress generally creeps up on us when we are feeling out of control. When you notice these feelings bubbling, remind yourself to breath. Try to find the humor in the situation. Humore gives perspective and it heals. And, most importantly, remind yourself often that This Too Shall Pass.
Sometimes the most certain thing is uncertainty, the only order lies in chaos and the deepest calm resides in the center of the storm. When things feel out of control to you, remind yourself that they’ve always been so.
The best way to change any situation is to change the lense through which you are viewing it.
Wait. It’s not what you think. Really. I’m Talking about the “Helpers High”.
The “Helpers High is a euphoric rush followed by a long period of calm that comes just after you’ve done some good for someone. When you do good for others you do good for your self. One of the most immediate antidotes for the ravages set about on the body from stress is altruism. Doing good deeds releases positive hormones that battle stress hormones and restore systems that have been battered by the negative hormones. Acts of altruism engage emotions that are instrumental in bringing about god health in the body. When you commit an act of kindness your body will release natural pain killing endorphins that will alleviate any chronic symptoms that might be plaguing you. In short, Helping others is some of the best medicine you can give yourself.
“TRUE HAPPINESS COMES FROM A SENSE
OF PEACE AND CONTENTMENT,
WHICH IN TURN MUST BE ACHIEVED
THROUGH THE CULTIVATION OF ALTRUISM,
OF LOVE AND COMPASSION…
~H.H. DALAI LAMA
If you are looking to make an immediate positive impact on the world and on your own life, make an effort to give to someone or some organization who could use the help.
There is no shortage of places to go to offer you help, and you will reap as much benefit as you are giving to others.
Our duty in this life is to leave the world a better place than we found it. By improving your life and performing acts of altruism you are single handedly raising the baseline consciousness of the planet and literally making the world a better place.
It was believed among ancient Egyptians that at the time of their death they would be asked two questions that wopuld decide whether or not they would continue their journey into the afterlife…
”Did you bring Joy?”
and
“Did you find Joy.”
I like to ask myself this question at the end of each day. The excercise helps me to keep things in perspective. Though it is not always easy, it is always good to help others and often, it is the person giving the help who will receive the greatest benefit.
Picture this. It’s 5:45pm, Friday night. You’re having a dinner party at 8:00. Lots to get done before then. You swing quickly into the supermarket to pick up some crackers for your cheese plate. The place is jumping! You sprint down the aisles grabbing what you need and bolt to the register. 10-Items or less Yes! only one person in front of you. She’s unloading her basket (exactly ten items) … her cell phone rings, she answers it “hello,… oh, …. no problem, I’ll just grab some…” She hangs up, says “I’ll just be a second”… the cashier looks at her a little befuddled but says okay. All the other lines are long… here you are with your two items. The cashier can’t ring you up because she is in the middle of helping miss “The Whole World Revolves Around Me” who has gone back to finish her shopping. A few minutes pass which seem like years and here she is, casually strolling back to the line with a box of dogie treats and two jars of pickles. She cuts back into the line, holding up the jars and says “I just couldn’t decide….” She smiles and finishes her transaction. 13 items in the “ten items or less” line and she stole your valuable time because she didn’t know what pickles to choose.
At this point you… REJOICE!
You are in the presence of a Saint Maker.
A saint maker is a person who has an uncanny ability to drive everyone around them completely crazy, all the while being oblivious that they are doing so.
Saint makers are put on earth to give us the opportunity to develop our ability to be more saintly.
Everyone knows a saint maker. They could be your neighbors, your friends, your parents or your spouse.
When I was living at the Sivananda Ashram some years back, one of my teachers made the astounding and briliant decision to put one of the more difficult people in our group into a position that demanded that he work directly with almost everyone in the ashram. Many were dumbfounded. How could he give this bufoon such an important roll…
Turns out the teacher knew exactly what he was doing. By putting a saint maker into a central roll in the community, he provided each of us with uncountable opportunities to become more saintly.
As you go about your day today, notice the saint makers as they pop up and rather than cursing under your breath as they pass, breath easy and smile and see them for exactly what they are.
“To See and Listen to the Wicked is Already the Beginning of Wickedness.” -Confucious The world is chaos, this we know. And though some will argue that chaos is a kind of order, this does not make it easier when you get blind sided by the universe. I saw a bumper sticker on a car [...]

I woke this morning to the sound of geese flying south.
These are the early adopters I suppose.
This, I think, is the kind of goose that I would be. Hitting the sky early to get down where the weather is warm.
I have an affinity for geese. For me they offer an affirmation that amidst the chaos of being, there is still a simple and natural order to things.
Some years back I had the privelege of attending a Mi’kmaq trance ceremony. A group of about 25 of us joined in a circle eyes closed focused inward as our guide played a trance beat on the medicine drum. The purpose of this ceremony was for us to go in and find our power animal. Our instruction was to follow the beat of the drum into a vision that would reveal itself as a path. Once on the path we were guided to walk it until we came to find our totem animal. Once united with our animal we were to journey with them until cued by a notable change in the drumming. At this point we would depart from our animal and follow the same path out that we took in and the trance would be finished.
This was may first experience with this kind of shamanic drumming. I was open to it, though somewhat skeptical. My ego was thinking “my animal is going top be a white wolf or an eagle, something fierce and powerful…”
I half expected that my mind would take control and create an experience based on my preconceived notions. If I had met “Ghost Wolf” or “Lightning Hawk” during the trance, I suspect I would have walked away questioning the validity of my vision. I would have called myself out for letting my ego mind conjure what I wanted it to see. I am pretty certain I would have written the whole thing off as “new age bunk”.
Something unexpected happened. I was pulled into the drumming. The vision of a path came to me clearly. I followed it. Deeper I went into the beat and further down my path. This was the real deal. Deeper into the trance. Into the “no time” place. My path came to a cliff and my perception went over the edge…
But I did not fall. I looked to my left and there a goose was flying… and to my right, and behind. I was in the sky. I was flying with the flock.
My power animal revealed to me… the goose.
I would never have consciously conjured a goose.
To me they seemed such goofy animals… gawky and strange. But, flying with them, I felt something else.
Geese take care of each other. They stick together, they persevere , they are conscious communicators and they are loyal to eachother. They are empathic, they hold space in the sky for one another and they sing together.
What a gift this morning, awaking to the geese, singing the song of the birth of Autumn and the song of the promise of Winter… their honking chants heralding the turning of the wheel of time.
I am a practitioner of Eastern medicine. I advocate and strongly believe that there’s no better way to control anxiety than what nature can offer us. Unlike prescription drugs that have harmful side effects and can do more harm than good to the body, herbal products, such as AnxiClear, are as effective and much safer. This, and the mind-calming effect of yoga, is what I always advise to those people come to me who are suffering from anxiety attacks.
I discovered a solution that has become part of my recommended regimen – AnxiClear. So, here’s my review of AnxiClear. Despite its name, AnxiClear is an all-natural solution which has undergone careful and extensive research, and is packaged cleverly. But like its natural predecessors, AnxiClear is as safe to use as the herbal medicine I recommend to my clients and, admittedly, twice faster and more effective.
What About Quality Control?
AnxiClear has undergone the strict FDA guidelines of the United States in supplements. Add to that the GMP- approved facility it uses. And to cap these certifications is the Editor’s Choice Award, which seal can be seen on each carefully sealed bottle of AnxiClear.
Does it Work at Night Too?
AnxiClear, unlike the other anxiety solutions in the market, doesn’t promise temporary relief but rather goes straight to the problem. AnxiClear even understands that anxiety symptoms are different during the day and at night that’s why it is formulated in two separate programs – the Night and Day Program. Although AnxiClear comes in two regimens, it is not complicated. All you need is to take one to two capsule during the day and another one at night after meals, and no worries.
AnxiClear’s Day Program combats symptoms such as irritability, mood swings, and panic attacks, while the Night Program battles sleeplessness, restlessness, and excessive sweating. This provides a sure 24-hour relief. And relief isn’t the only thing that AnxiClear promise, but permanent relief. It reduces stress, and even before you notice it, you are having a good time. It stabilizes the body’s hormonal balance. And because AnxiClear has only the purest all-natural ingredients, it has no harmful side effects even if it is used long term. It doesn’t even hamper the other medications you use.
Is it Affordable?
And to show its serious commitment in helping people battle their anxiety problems, AnxiClear has designed special programs which will allow customers to purchase the treatment for a discounted price (it can come to as cheap as $25 a bottle):
Its Progressive Program allows you to purchase 6 bottles for a price of 3. This will make you have the promised relief for less.
Their Easy Program, on the other hand, lets you purchase 4 bottles and pay only for 2.
How’s Their Customer Service?
AnxiClear is also serious in protecting its client’ health that you can only avail it through their web sites. But despite this exclusivity, AnxiClear can be purchased and delivered by people anywhere and anytime in the world. It also promises a 24-hour delivery which is packaged discreetly. Aside from this, it has a 60-day 100% money-back guarantee just in case you are dissatisfied with the product.
AnxiClear truly embodies the phrase, the best of both worlds. The merging of the East and the West.
I have made it my practice to believe that there is always truth in fortune cookie fortunes…
When I get a fortune cookie, my ritual is as follows.
1. sellect my cookie. If there is more than one, I choose very carefully. It is after all, a matter of prophecy.
2. I break the cookie in half, pull out the fortune and eat one half of the cookie before I read the fortune. If I don’t eat half of the cookie I risk my fortune not being true.
3. I read my fortune and eat the other half of the cookie while contemplating the potential twist in my fate.
I find myself still contemplating today’s fortune…
I searched “Luch” on google when I got back to the office to see if there was some numinous meaning to the word.
